Surf Instructors in Unawatuna

Unawatuna is a calmer bay near Galle, good for lighter sessions and short trips to nearby surf spots. Waves here are usually less consistent for training than in Weligama, so timing matters.
Good for beginners: partly; Weligama is often better for structured beginner progression.
Equipment rental: basic rental is available, but options are fewer than in larger surf hubs.
How to get there: from Colombo, usually 2-3 hours by road, or train to Galle plus a short tuk-tuk ride.
